The Beavers
Having fun with friends
Beavers are the Section between Squirrels and
Cubs. We take young people from 6 up to the age of 8
years when they move on to Cubs.
Beavers have fun, play games and learn through doing
and taking part. Beavers also work for badges and
join in all the other Scouting activities we have at
our Group. This includes camping, outings of all
kinds, boating, archery, shooting and much much
more.
Things we
do:
- Beavers meet every week and our themed
meetings are part of the National Beaver Scout
Programme
- We go camping and have sleepovers
- We get out on the water
- We make new friends and learn new skills
- We go on outings
- We do something new every week
- We have lots and lots of fun

How to join
in the fun
If you would like to become a Beaver, then we would
be pleased to hear from you. Don't wait until you
are 6 as we need to plan ahead to make sure that
there are places for everyone. However, if you are 6
or over still contact us as soon as possible and we
will do everything we can to find you a place.
To contact us, go to our Contact
Us Page and send us an e-mail. Then we can
give you all the details about our meetings.
